Soda-Brade UK LTD was formed in 2010 by the current directors, both of which have been in the Corrosion Protection, Surace Preparation Industry for a combined total of 30 years. We utilise the latest Soda Blasting Technology on the market today and make use of a wide range of abrasives, from Bicarbonate of Soda to Aluminium slag.

Soda Blasting pressures and media flow can be regulated and controlled to the point where we are able to strip the paint off a Coke can without warping or damaging the tin, yes that's right no damage to the tin!

Q. What is Soda Blasting?

A: Soda blasting is an environmentally friendly way of removing paint, dirt, salt, tar and other surface coatings without causing damage to the substrata (actual surface) being cleaned. Unlike sand blasting, the action of the sodium bicarbonate does not cause heat buildup, sparks, or abrasion to the actual surface. Sodium bicarbonate is water-soluble and can be disposed of through conventional drainage systems. Most municipalities not only agree, but invite the bicarbonate into their sewer systems because it acts as a buffer and becomes beneficial to their sewer treatment facilities.
